Kind, pleasant people working here. Great and decent location right by the ferry port in Kirkwall, airport and Orkney from the Shetland Ferry at 11pm. Also, to centre of Kirkwall.

Our food for continental breakfast was great and all the staff were excellent and knowledgeable. The location turned out to be peaceful and decent, so close to all other facilities.

I spent one night at Sanderlay Guest House and would definitely return. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was excellent and really friendly, which made my stay enjoyable. My bedroom was beautiful and had a good amount of space. The continental breakfast was fabulous, with a great selection of food. it was a delightful experience!

Sanderlay Guest House is situated in a peaceful area, offering convenience just off the taxi route to the ferry port in Kirkwall. It’s also a short drive to both Kirkwall and the Highland Park distillery, and just 5 minutes away from Teamsport Go Karting Warrington.

This place had a bright and spacious room with a lovely view, biscuits, and a TV, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Bright and large room, beautiful view, helpful and super friendly staff, and biscuits provided.

This hotel has a great location, just a short walk from the Winter Garden and near the main attractions and a lovely aquarium.
